Wildcat Run Golf & Country Club – Approves a $8M Golf Course Renovation.

Wildcat Run Golf & Country Club is excited to announce the start of  $8M golf course renovation project.  Last summer we created a new short game practice facility  and redesigned our range.  The project is  overseen by North Carolina based Golf Architect Kris Spence who specializes in sensitive renovation and restoration projects. The plan doesn’t seek to redesign the course, instead, it seeks to preserve and enhance the original design while implementing critical infrastructure needs and foundational improvements. This project will greatly improve infrastructure, playability, and ongoing maintenance for the next 35 years. The emphasis of the renovation is to correct long term drainage issues along with infrastructure items such as cart path replacement, tee expansion, extensive fairway drainage, greens reconstruction, practice facility upgrades and updated grass varieties throughout the course. The renovation is announced on the heels of recent $25K increase to golf initiation fees for membership effective June 1, 2023. The Members of Wildcat Run invested in a wide-range revitalization of their infrastructure. In early 2020 Wildcat Run Golf & Country Club unveiled a $4M renovation of their casual dining facility and outdoor amenities area through the expansion of the Grill Room to 17,000 square feet. The project encompassed expanding the dining room, card rooms, locker rooms, state-of-the-art kitchen, indoor-outdoor bar, outdoor gathering area that includes two bocce courts elevating the appeal of the private member- owned golf community.
