Thank you Note from Art Reach

The Wildcat Run Charitable Foundation has been a major contributor to Valerie’s House, donating over $60,000 to this amazing charity, who mission is to help children and their families who have lost a loved one.

The children of Valerie’s House, Inc., a Southwest Florida nonprofit helping grieving families, have created a traveling Children’s Grief Quilt that has been displayed at several businesses and schools in the area, as well as in Congressman Francis Rooney’s office in Washington, will also be displayed at Wildcat Run from January 8 to January 11, 2018.

Each square of the Children’s Quilt, represents a memory they have about the person  in their life who has died. The handmade quilt was made to bring attention to children grieving and spread awareness about the Valerie’s House grief support program.

More than 20 businesses, schools and government  agencies have displayed the quilt in 2017, such as Fine Mark National Bank & Trust, Iberia Bank, Markham Norton Mosteller Wright and Company, Norman Love Confections, the School District of Lee County, and  the Cannon House Office Building, House of Representatives in Washington D.C., to name a few.

The Wildcat Run Charitable Foundation is proud to display this beautiful and emotional work of art.
