Wildcat Run Golf & Country Club recently presented the Children’s Advocacy Center of Southwest Florida and

Valerie’s House Inc. with checks for $30,000 each. The money was raised during the club’s annual Wildcat Cares 4 Kids event attended by more than 200 club members and guests.

Hosted by the Wildcat Run Charitable Foundation, the Carnevale Fantasy-themed evening included both silent and live auctions, including top bids for a gift certificate to the Diamond District coupled with a pair of high-polish frosted background earrings, a limousine ride to Fleming’s Steakhouse for an elegant dinner and a custom white diamond bracelet.

The funds raised matched the previous year’s contributions, bringing the total amount raised over the past five years to more than $200,000.

“The continued support and generosity of the Wildcat Run members and community sponsors year after year is remarkable,” said Wildcat Cares 4 Kids Board President, Judy Mittino. “This is our fifth year contributing to the Children’s Advocacy Center of Southwest Florida and it is because of our partnership that we are truly able to make an impact in our community. This year we also had the opportunity to partner with Valerie’s House to help extend our reach in Southwest Florida.”

Thank you for your generosity and support. Once again, our residents have proven to be outstanding contributors.

Wildcat Cares for Kids Charitable Foundation donated $540.00 to our local Fire Chief to provide fire safety material for over 300 children in the Fire Safety Education Program here in Estero.
